Sieve analysis (sieve analysis) is an attempt to filter soil samples through a set of sieves, where the sieve holes are smaller in succession, this method is usually used to filter material / particles with a diameter of 75 0.075 mm.
The size of the soil granules is determined by filtering a number of soils through a set of filters arranged with the largest hole at the top and the lower and smaller. The amount of soil retained in the filter is called one of the sizes of the soil sample. In reality, the work is only grouping part of the attached ground between two sizes.
